Here at The Golden Stroopwafel, it’s all about warm, old-fashioned Dutch coziness, but with a surprising twist. We are a unique stroopwafel concept with a small-scale eatery where craftsmanship and creativity meet. Our bar connects strangers and brings people together. Think: classic stroopwafels just the way you know them, and exciting versions you’ve never tasted before.

The Golden Stroopwafel was founded by Melissa, an entrepreneur at heart, together with her business partner Savan. Old-fashioned Dutch vibes are our foundation, but we dare to color outside the lines. Melissa rides a Harley and brings that free, bold spirit into everything we do: thinking outside the box, showing courage, and always daring to be just a little different.

Our golden branding is no coincidence: the name The Golden Stroopwafel was chosen by Melissa’s son. It’s a nod to the warm glow of freshly baked syrup and, at the same time, a symbol of family. Because what starts in the kitchen becomes a family tradition with us: tasting together, laughing, and making memories.

“Creativity with a touch of me” is how Melissa sums it up perfectly. Every creation carries that personal signature, from classic waffles to limited editions with a unique twist. Expect an enthusiastic, spontaneous welcome. For us, coziness is priority number one.
